Mood Map app

Here is our app map.

Project 1 re-fix

After hearing the critics response from the previous presentation. I add few things in the app. In the first image It's a gameplay. Not only to see the character dogging objects but the character is collecting coins as the coins is going towards to the character. I also add cash hud so that the players can understand how much money the character has collected and use that cash to spend money at the store in the game. In the second and the third image it shows a store items. What I add in the store is that every time when you tap an image, it will have a name for the item and it will explain a description. At the bottom right, there is a "x" button to exit the description. In order to buy an item, just tap the picture again when the player in a description area. Also at the top right, it shows cash where the players collected from the game.

Group Project #2

For people who go through various 'stressors' in their day - primarily people maybe working in healthcare who take on a lot of stress from other individuals - they may not have time to go to the gym or to a yoga / meditation classes - so with four easy questions will guide them to yoga poses/mantras that will keep them safe, and help with their particular problem.

MoodMapper Wireframes V1

Assignment for April 10

Next week iterate on your wireframe and make a prototype. Looks like folks like Flinto, so feel free to use that or POP, or go for paper if that's more your style. You'll present the prototype to other groups in class.

Here's the presentation from today's lecture on Agile and Scrum.

Extra Credit Screens

Guess Who Wireframes

Extra Credit: BikeNYC Re-Iteration

My critics admired my BikeNYC app prototype and emphasized the community factor of the app. However, they thought a few things should be fixed. They mentioned the bottom navigation bar and how the central Bike icon wasn't as prominent as the others. Also, they mentioned that when selecting a location, the pin should always be centered on the screen.

I created new wireframes to address those issues:

Extra Credit: Revision of Shhpeakeasy

I decided to make changes to these three screens due to the problems with its hierarchy (Screen 2: Speakeasy Profile) and the user experience of the entire app (applies to all screens). I had also added a tip and tilted the bottle to show that the user can interact and embark on another Shhpeakeasy journey. I've also decided to make the background of the app dark, as the user would be using the app at night. It would enhance the experience for the user, as it is easier for him/her to see the screen. It also adds a sense of mystery towards the experience of discovering a speakeasy.

Extra credit assignment - Trans App

Based on the feedback on the midterm presentation, the 3 views changed on the Trans app are the 'Home' view, the 'List' view and the 'Add new location' view:

Home view:

The critics said the 'Learn More' bar should be called 'Online info' and that it was as important as the other bars. Also, it was said that the text under the titles of each bar were difficult to read. I decided to remove them, they seemed unnecessary.

List view:

Considering that the list of categories is limited to a small number, it should explore the space available in the screen. Now there is more space between categories and each one has an icon.

Add new location view:

The critics said that the 'ready' button should be at the end and that the 'Categories' section should come before the 'transgender services' section, so that the services can be based on the categories chosen. In this case, because the 'Health & Medical' category is selected, the services Psychological Care, Hormone therapy, Reassignment surgery, etc. are available.
