There's this game app I found and I was happy playing it. This game is called Raptor. It brings me back memories because this game is based on a windows 95 pc game. I always love playing this game as a kid, brings back memories. A si-fi top down shooter created in 1997 made from Mountain King Studios (made for a windows 95 pc game) and later was remake for the iphone, mac, etc. from BitWise studio. In the game, there are two different controls, one is Accelerometer (very hard to control and poor movement) and another is touch and drag which allows the player to move a object. There are also settings which allows the players to change sounds, controls, resolution (which doesn't help), and music. The goal for this game is to basically destroy everything that gets in your way (no story). Before the player starts the game, the players enters a hanger there are three parts one is the saving area (save the game), supply room (to upgrade weapons), and lastly fly mission (to start the game). The game is split into three different parts called episodes (it's another word for levels) and each of these episodes provides 11 or 10 ten levels and makes the level a little harder. Also every time you an episode, the difficulty gets harder. In the gameplay, there are 7 different huds, at the right corner are the weapons (in order to change weapons, just tap the right corner of the icon), at the to center of the hud is credits (the more you attack an object or destroy an object, the credits will increase), at the left corner are using attack items (taping the items will create a special attack weapon). On the right and the left is the health meter. Also there is a pause button which allows the players to quit the game or to resume the game.

Game App: Raptor: call of shadows

Project 1 re-fix
After hearing the critics response from the previous presentation. I add few things in the app. In the first image It's a gameplay. Not only to see the character dogging objects but the character is collecting coins as the coins is going towards to the character. I also add cash hud so that the players can understand how much money the character has collected and use that cash to spend money at the store in the game. In the second and the third image it shows a store items. What I add in the store is that every time when you tap an image, it will have a name for the item and it will explain a description. At the bottom right, there is a "x" button to exit the description. In order to buy an item, just tap the picture again when the player in a description area. Also at the top right, it shows cash where the players collected from the game.

Game app that I found
Game app that I found:
One app that I found is a game called "Smash Hit". It was simple and fun. It's a FPS (first person shooter) game. The goal of this game is to get the highest score as much as possible than other players. Its a both single player and multilayer (if you use game center to submit your high score). In order to survive, the players have to increase their health (it is also used as ammo shown on the top of the HUD) and doge objects or walls. in order to fire an object, just tap the screen. In order to avoid getting hit by a glass wall, etc. just shoot. In this game the colors begins to change showing that the player is in a different level. Also, there are these triangle or diamond objects on the ground. Every time you hit it, your health or ammo will increase by 3 or 6. When the game starts, it gets easier, less obstacles and slow from the beginning, but later in the game it gets faster and the obstacles gets harder. There are two ways to get a game over, getting crashed into a glass wall until your ammo is depleted (every time the players gets hit by a glass wall, the player will louse ammo by 10) or keep firing until the ammo is depleted. There are check points along the way every time you beat a level. If you louse, you can always start where you left off. How ever, in order to do that, you have to buy the updated version which sucks.

This app is something like a wikipedia for "how
things work", but in a very user-friendly and easy way using a
smartphone. All you need to do is take a picture of a mechanism, system,
machine [you name it] such as a watch or a pen and then the app uses
its bank of data, recognizes the object and shows the user all of the
structural/mechanical parts+ components and how it was made.

Prototype
Prototype:
As the player opens the game, an online app called "Game Center" will automatically open to the log in page allowing player post up their scores to compete with friends to get a hire score. However, using game center is optional, you can always play off line so that the player can practice to get a hire score as possible. At the menu of the game, there will be: "New Game" (Providing two different levels such as "Normal" and "Hard") , "Setting" (Having "Sound FX" and "Music"), "Score" (optional to submit scores online or to play offline), and "Credits" (Explaining about the game). The game is a run and jump action plat form. The goal of this game is to have the character to reach the other side in order for the player to move to the next level. Each of the level will have different settings that the players will recognize such as Central Park, Times Square, etc. There will be check points every level. If you louse all your life, you have to stat all over from level one.
